About Me

I am a celebrant living in Wellington with my loving husband of 30+ years. I am happy to provide my services (without additional travel charges) to the Wellington, Wairarapa and Manawatu regions.
I know that love can take many forms and means different things to different people so I am dedicated to having your voices heard on your special day.
Your day should be about who you are as a couple and what you mean to one another - my role is to facilitate how you communicate that to one another through words and ritual.
I began this journey when I was asked by my beautiful niece and her now wife if I would marry them, an honour I happily took up. This experience has made me become passionate about helping couples celebrate their love in special and personalised ways.
I have 3 adult sons, who are my biggest supporters, two gorgeous daughters-in-law, and 3 furry grandchildren (hopefully with some not so furry ones on the way). My family has supported me on this journey and created this website for me.
I enjoy being active, getting out into the amazing environments we have in Aotearoa. I am creative and use this creativity in the ceremonies I write. I am an avid reader and enjoy tending my garden.
I have worked in early childhood for many years as a teacher and teacher educator . Alongside this I have engaged in my own learning and have gained my PhD in Education.
